We spent Thanksgiving at Grandma Jerana and Grandpa Barry's house along with my parents. It was a small group of us this year. We missed the rest of the family who weren't able to join us but Sophie made up for it with her energy and excitement. 2009 has been a difficult year for our family with the loss of uncle Tommy and grandma Betty and the ill health of grandmother Mildred. And most recently, Rosie being diagnosed with cancer. It has also been a year of blessings with the birth of our beautiful little man, Ethan. We are so fortunate to have loving, supportive parents. We are lucky that they both live nearby and will come to our house in a moments notice if we need help with the kids. Over the summer, they helped us so many times including when I went into labor, when Ethan was admitted to the hospital, when Sophie had pneumonia and to give us a break when we were exhausted! We are truly thankful for all the love they have given us so it was perfect spending this day with them.
