Rosie Update

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers this week. Rosie went in for her surgery on Monday and did terrific. She is recovering really well and is her typical self scrounging for food and always right next to us. Jason took her back on Saturday to get the results of the biopsy. Unfortunately, her cancer is in the most aggressive stage and the vet was unable to remove all the cancerous cells as they are now in her muscles. The prognosis is unknown but the vet says she will most likely have up to another 2 1/2 years in her. This would give her a full life expectancy for a lab. I am hoping that the last years we have with her will be active and happy.
