We continued the afternoon with another Easter egg hunt and more food! After Sophie woke up from her nap, we went to Grandma Jerana's and Grandpa Barry's house for Easter supper and to celebrate Ashleigh's birthday. By this time, Sophie is in play clothes and Ethan is ready to crash. After we put Ethan down for a nap, we had an Easter egg hunt in grandma and grandpa's living room. They served a yummy dinner of ham sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, cupcakes and cake. Sophie got some sidewalk chalk in her Easter basket so she went outside with grandma to color while Jason and I got some time to relax. It was a wonderful holiday weekend spent with our family but there was so much excitement, stimulation and sweets (for Sophie anyway), that it took forever to get them to sleep that night. I was tempted to take Monday off of work to get some rest.
