Happy Halloween!
What an exciting Halloween! We had so much fun with Sophie's Halloween parade and party at school on Friday except for the fact that the weather was so warm that by the end she was eating her cupcakes practically naked because her costume was so hot.
We spent the day making Halloween cupcakes, carving pumpkins and roasting pumpkin seeds.
This evening we had our families and Sabena & Kevin over for some appetizers and drinks so they could see the kids dressed up in their costumes. Then Sophie, Ethan, Grandma Retta and I went to our neighbor's Halloween party while Daddy stayed back to give out candy. Their son, Johnny, is just a few months older than Sophie so she had a little buddy to play with. We left a little early to trick or treat on our own before coming home to go to crash out.
